Groupon Launches Groupon Reserve

Attracting Patrons Who Count
Patrons “who count”?  Well, according to Groupon’s new service, businesses now can “gain online and mobile exposure to high-end patrons who love what you do. Reserve’s customers enjoy the finer things and premium experiences.” [LINK]
So, is “Reserve” just a high-end marketing service?  Akin to Gilt?  Maybe in some ways; but according to Groupon’s Blog, “Groupon Reserve is an important step in our journey to become the leading marketplace for online deals, where consumers can come to Groupon and discover great businesses at unbeatable prices, “ said Groupon CEO Eric Lefkofsky. “As Groupon has evolved, we’ve seen growing demand from our customers for upscale offers and exclusive experiences. Reserve gives the most prestigious brands a new way to reach our large and desirable audience.” [LINK – full Blog Post]  Well, we’re staying tuned-in.  Groupon seems to have some interesting stuff up its sleeves!
